Stuffed Pasta Manicotti & 2001 Owen Sullivan Winery BSH

This is a really great Washington Cab-Merlot-Cab Franc
Blend. This is one of the first Washington wines that I really liked alot(beside Quilceda). This was my last bottle of this but it was problably a little past its prime. The previous bottle was( a year or more ago) was much better

Ventura Cheesesteak with Sauce & 2006 Domaine Sainte Leocadie Les Clauses -Minervois

I was jones'in for a philly steak.....so I made one....or two. Steaks come with sauce....the way they should be. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The Leocadies is a great Minervois blend. I got it for about $9.00. It is a good QPR wine. AMGP 89
For an even better wine from the same maker....try the Domaine Sainte Leocadie Cuvee Fernand Averoux Proprietary Blend

Sonoma Wine Road -Tasting along the wine road

* It should be noted that I have a New Camera- Canon 40D (and some serious lenses to go with it)
This is a great event! Saturday and Sunday Tasting wines and food at wineries in Sonoma. You get a cookbook that has the recipes that each of the participating wineries prepared for tasting.
We started off with a meeting of our group at Pedroncelli Winery.
They were serving Onion soup (Zinonion).
I am not an Onion fan(as some know)....
